What Is Purpose?
Purpose is the direction you point your essence in. It is constructed, not discovered: you form it from evidence about where your pattern produces disproportionate value, then you test it in real conditions and revise. A purpose you cannot act on this month is not yet a purpose — it is a wish.
Constructed, not revealed
The waiting model of purpose — that clarity will arrive if you reflect long enough — reliably produces years of stalling. The construction model gives you something to do this week: name a candidate direction, run it, read the result.
Testing a candidate purpose
A good test is small, real and time-bounded. It puts your pattern in contact with a genuine constraint and returns information you could not have reasoned your way to.
Run three tests before you conclude anything. One result is noise.
